For Authors
Submit ManuscriptThe National Security Law Journal is currently accepting submissions for Volume 13, Issue 1 (Fall 2025).
NSLJ invites articles from law school professors, judges, practicing attorneys, teachers in other disciplines, and practitioners. We generally do not accept submissions from current students. Submitted articles should be double-spaced using a 12-point font with 1″ margins. We ask that articles are submitted as a Microsoft Word document.
Footnotes should adhere to the latest edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.
Authors can expect publication decisions within 20 calendar days. After an article is selected, the Editorial Board works collaboratively with the author to refine, clarify, and polish the piece. This process generally takes 60-90 calendar days after it is initiated, but the timeline varies depending upon the journal’s production schedule.
